Description
An advanced gel formulation that, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, thickened skin and/or keloids) secondary to surgical procedures or various types of injuries. The Allium cepa (onion) extract, with its high quercetin content, promotes the correct scarring process, as well as reducing redness and itching of the forming tissue. The presence of allantoin contributes to the soothing effect, while low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate support skin hydration and elasticity. The pullulan-based gel forms a protective film that maintains the physiological hydration of the scar tissue and allows for rapid softening and flattening of the scar; applying Kaloidon therefore facilitates optimal scar massage. For particularly thickened scars, Kaloidon can also be applied with a compress.

Instructions for use
It is recommended to massage the skin with the following movements:
1. perform circular movements both on and around the scar;
2. slide your fingers parallel to the scar line in both directions;
3. move your fingers in a zig-zag pattern along the scar.
In the presence of particularly hardened tissues, continue the massage for about 15 minutes, repeating the various steps 4-5 times. For very thickened scars, Kaloidon can also be used with a compress.
Kaloidon should be used after stitches are removed on intact skin. Apply to clean, dry skin, two or more times a day, an amount of product appropriate for the area to be treated and massage until fully absorbed.
It is recommended to use Kaloidon continuously for at least 2 months on new scars; for already developed scars and keloids, application can be extended up to 3-6 months.

Components
Aqua, propylene glycol, pullulan, triethanolamine, alcohol, Allium cepa bulb extract, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, allantoin, sodium benzoate, glycosaminoglycans, tetrasodium EDTA, benzoic acid, sodium hyaluronate, dehydroacetic acid.

Warnings
The use of the product is contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. For external use. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the tube opening is missing).
Kaloidon is a dark amber-colored transparent gel; any differences in shade are due to the natural origin of the onion extract.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
