ITYOLATE
Description
A medical device which, thanks to its particular structure, promotes the formation of a protective film on irritated and reddened skin associated with furunculosis, allowing the active ingredients to act locally. Ichthammol (ichthyol) and zinc oxide, in synergy with rice starch, hinder microbial development, creating an astringent and soothing effect on irritated skin with a reduction in outbreaks.
How to use
Apply a uniform layer of ointment to the affected areas 2-3 times a day. On medical advice, the product can also be used with an occlusive dressing (transparent film, water-resistant plaster, etc.).
Components
Aqua, Oryza sativa starch, laureth-7, C13-14 isoparaffin, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, ichthammol, zinc oxide, salicylic acid, Citrus limon peel oil, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, imidazolidinyl urea, Malva sylvestris leaf extract, undecylenic acid, caprylic/capric triglyceride, tetrasodium EDTA, xanthan gum, chlorhexidine digluconate, BHA, BHT, chitosan, tocopheryl acetate, D-limonene, citral, polyacrylamide.
Warnings
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of Ityolate. Do not apply to abraded or damaged skin. Do not use in subjects with other dermatological conditions. Consult a doctor if used concomitantly with other products. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
ITYOLATE Ointment is usually well tolerated. A slight burning and redness may be felt after applying the product. Use, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case, discontinue treatment. Report any unwanted effects to your doctor or pharmacist. Avoid wearing contact lenses while handling the product. The product may stain skin and clothing. Close the tube carefully after each use. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged. It is recommended to consume the product within 3 months of opening.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 5 and 30 °C.
Shelf life of unopened packaging: 30 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
