Description
Syrup indicated for the treatment of both dry and wet cough in children from 1 year of age. It is indicated for both acute and persistent cough.
A medical device that soothes both dry and wet cough without suppressing it, thus respecting its important defensive role. It acts both in the dry cough phase, counteracting inflammation of the mucosa, and in the mucous phase, promoting hydration and elimination from the upper airways. Grintuss carries out a physiological protective, soothing, and anti-inflammatory action on the upper respiratory tract as a result of the following mechanisms of action:
- barrier;
- hydrating;
- lubricating;
- mucoregulatory;
- antioxidant.

Instructions for use
Children 1-6 years: 5 ml of syrup (one teaspoon) two to four times a day.
Children over 6 years: 10 ml of syrup (two teaspoons) two to four times a day.
It is advisable to administer the last dose before going to bed. Shake before use. Close the bottle tightly after use.
The product can also be taken for prolonged periods. If symptoms do not resolve after 14 days of treatment, it is nevertheless recommended to consult a doctor.

Ingredients
5 ml of product contain: Poliresin plant complex 31 mg, based on polysaccharides, resins, and flavonoids (LPME extractive fraction of plantain*, grindelia*, and helichrysum*), honey* 1.7 g, cane sugar*, water; essential oils of lemon, sweet orange, and myrtle, natural lemon flavour, gum arabic and xanthan gum.

Do not use if there is hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
If symptoms do not improve, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
The product is well tolerated. However, if you notice the appearance of an undesirable effect attributable to the product or its use, inform your doctor and/or pharmacist and the manufacturer. In case of a serious incident, also inform the competent authority of your country.

Storage
Store at room temperature even after opening.
Shelf life of unopened package: 30 months.
