Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a hypotonic, slightly viscous, sterile solution, with physiological pH, preservative-free, based on dry extract of Perilla frutescens in combination with hyaluronic acid, contained in strips of 5 single-dose vials filled to 0.5 ml. The dry extract of Perilla frutescens, thanks to the presence of polyphenols, has an antioxidant action that counteracts redness and irritation caused by oxidative stress due to unfavorable external factors, while hyaluronic acid, a highly biocompatible polymer, stabilizes and reintegrates the aqueous layer of the tear film thanks to its lubricating and moisturizing action.
Indicated for:
- relieving and counteracting temporary sensations of eye discomfort such as redness, dryness, foreign body sensations caused by unfavorable atmospheric and environmental conditions (air conditioning, dry climate, heating systems, wind, pollution, dust, smoke, allergens);
- relieving states of eye fatigue from visual stress such as a long period of driving or studying, or from prolonged use of electronic devices (TV, smartphone, computer) and/or contact lenses or from excessive light exposure;
- alleviating the sensation of occasional dry eye related to ongoing blepharitis, and promoting the removal of any secretions;
- alleviating states of allergic conjunctivitis and promoting the removal of any secretions.
FENOYAL can be administered before application and during the use of contact lenses to improve application and comfort.

How to use
Open the aluminum pouch.
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Separate the single-dose vial from the strip and open it by twisting the cap.
Gently press the body of the single-dose vial and instill 2-3 drops into each eye.
After instillation, immediately close the vial and reuse the remaining content within the next 12 hours.
Store unused vials in the aluminum pouch until the content is finished.
The product in the vial is for single patient use to avoid possible contamination.
The product is compatible with contact lenses.
Instill 2-3 drops per eye, 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.

Components
Perilla d.e. (tit. in polyphenols ≥2.5%) 0.1%, hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.25%, sodium chloride, anhydrous dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic monohydrate sodium phosphate, purified water.

Warnings
The product is for ophthalmic use only, do not ingest or use other than as directed.
Once opened, the single-dose vial can be reclosed with the appropriate cap and the remaining content must be used within 12 hours to avoid possible product contamination.
Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
Keep out of reach of children.
During instillation, do not touch the eye, or other surfaces, with the dispensing end of the vial.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation.
If necessary, check with your optician for the compatibility of eye drops with the contact lenses used.
In case of adverse reactions during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
If necessary, consult your doctor for use in children and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Any administration of drugs and medical devices for ophthalmic use should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can assess possible interactions.
In case of compromised ocular surface or damaged cornea, consult your doctor.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
In the event of any serious complaint or incident occurring in relation to the device, it is necessary to report the event to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the member state in which the user resides.

Storage
Unopened packaging validity: 36 months.

The package consists of 6 aluminum pouches, each containing 1 strip of 5 vials. Each single-dose vial filled to 0.5 ml is reclosable.
