Description
Hypercaloric special medical purpose food in powder form, with a neutral taste, for the development and growth of children over one year old, for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition and/or growth problems.
FORTINI POWDER is a hypercaloric (1.5 kcal/ml) nutritionally complete powder nutritional supplement specifically designed for children over one year of age.
FORTINI POWDER, thanks to the versatility of its powder formulation and its neutral taste, can be added to drinks or foods (e.g. milk, yogurt or soup) without altering the taste.
FORTINI POWDER is effective for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition and/or growth problems in cases of deficient nutritional status and/or poor appetite, and can be used as the sole source of nutrition from one year of age onwards.

Directions for use
The correct dosage must be determined by a physician based on the child's needs.
1 scoop of FORTINI POWDER contains 6.1 g and provides approximately 30.1 kcal.
The recommended dilution is 30%: 5 scoops of FORTINI POWDER (30.5 g of powder) + 75 ml of liquid = 100 ml of ready-to-use product.

Warnings
For oral use only.
Not for parenteral use.
Not indicated for children with galactosemia.
Do not administer to children under 1 year of age.
Can be used as the sole source of nutrition from 1 year of age.
Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration.
To be used under medical supervision only.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, use the contents within 6 weeks. Close the jar tightly after use. The reconstituted product, if stored at room temperature, must be consumed within 4 hours; if stored in the refrigerator, it must be consumed within 24 hours.
