Fitonasal Pediatric
Description
Nasal spray indicated for the prevention and treatment of nasal congestion and irritation due to flu syndromes, colds, allergic rhinitis, and both acute and chronic sinusitis. The use of the product therefore promotes breathing and facilitates nighttime rest in young children. Fitonasal Pediatric can also be used as an adjuvant treatment in cases of coughs and sore throats caused by post-nasal drip and otitis media resulting from nasal congestion.
The product is indicated for use from 6 months of age.
Directions for use
Use at least twice a day, morning and evening, and whenever deemed necessary. For effective action, use Fitonasal Pediatric as indicated below:
From 6 months to one year of age
1. Lay the child on their side and insert the dispenser into the upper nostril, then spray the product.
2. Repeat the operation in the other nostril by laying the child on the other side.
Over one year of age
1. Insert the dispenser into the nostril and apply gentle pressure for a few seconds.
2. Clean the nose or, if possible, blow it, and repeat the nebulization in the other nostril.
Use nasally only.
After each use, clean the dispenser with a clean, damp cloth and dry carefully.
Fitonasal Pediatric can be used frequently and for prolonged periods because it does not contain vasoconstrictive decongestants, is not addictive, does not irritate, and does not dry out the mucosa.
If Fitonasal Pediatric is used together with nasal application medications, it is recommended to space the application of the two products by at least 1 hour.
Ingredients
1 ml of product contains: Tannisal natural complex 6.8 mg, based on tannins (LPME extractive fraction of witch hazel - 0.2 mg) and minerals (chemically untreated rock salt from mining - 6.6 mg), water, vegetable glycerin, lemon juice, nahcolite (natural sodium bicarbonate).
Warnings
Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, or other ignition sources. No smoking. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and protected from light. The expiry date refers to the product unopened and correctly stored.
Shelf life when unopened: 30 months
