Description
A medical device with a laxative action that naturally regulates the intestine through an osmotic effect.
It is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucous membrane, and is eliminated in the faeces in an unchanged form.
It is indicated for the treatment of constipation.
Thanks to its affinity for water, Fisiopax Adults softens stools, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain, or urgent conditions.
Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.

Components
Each sachet contains 10g of Makropur, a purified macrogol 3350.
Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.

Instructions for use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, it is advisable to use Fisiopax Adults according to the following instructions.
- Adults: 1 to 3 sachets per day. The dose can be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
The maximum necessary dose normally does not exceed 30g of product per day.
Dissolve one sachet (10g) in approximately 1 glass of water (about 125ml). The product can be dissolved in a liquid other than water (tea, milk, broth, or fruit juice).
The daily dose can be divided into multiple administrations.

Warnings
Keep the device and any solution obtained out of the reach of children.
Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not use if the package is damaged.
Do not exceed the recommended doses: in case of overdose, severe pain and abdominal distension may occur. Diarrhea may also occur, with electrolytic disturbances caused by excessive evacuation. In case of suspected overdose, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not use Fisiopax Adults for more than 30 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
During treatment with Fisiopax Adults, it is advisable to follow an adequate diet, accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to prevent dehydration; however, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
Gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, borborygmi, diarrhea or fecal leakage), as well as mild nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence, perianal inflammation and irritation may appear, especially during the initial phase of use; these effects usually improve by reducing the dose.
Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been observed very rarely. Other symptoms of allergic reactions include itching, urticaria, and dyspnea.
If side effects persist, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use in children under 6 months of age.
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, take Fisiopax Adults only after consulting your doctor.
The use of the device is not recommended in cases of: perforation or intestinal obstruction due to structural or functional disorders of the intestinal wall, ileus, severe inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract, such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and toxic megacolon.
Do not use in the presence of known gastric or intestinal lesions.
Each sachet is for single use and must be opened only at the time of use.
Do not use the medical device while using other oral devices or medicinal specialties: the osmotic power of macrogol and the increased gastrointestinal transit speed induced can negatively affect their effectiveness. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Fisiopax Adults if you are currently undergoing other therapies.
To date, no interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least two hours apart from orally administered drugs.

Storage
Store the unopened package in a dry place away from direct light or heat sources. Store the device below 25°C.
Shelf life of unopened package: 36 months.
