EDENORM
free
Description
Edenorm free is a sterile, hypertonic ophthalmic solution with 5% sodium chloride, preservative-free, useful for treating ocular edema. The Edenorm free bottle features an OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper which, through its absolute filter and valve system, ensures the sterility of the product without the use of preservatives.
Directions for use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor. After instillation, keep the eye closed for 1 or 2 minutes without blinking.
-For first use, remove the plastic ring sealing the cap by pulling the side tab.
-Remove the cap.
-Invert the bottle over the eye and with your index finger and thumb, apply increasing pressure to the sides until a drop is dispensed. It is possible that as the solution in the bottle runs out, more force may be required.
-Replace the cap on the bottle.
Components
Main component: 5% sodium chloride.
Other components: hydroxyethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer, polyethylene glycol, boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid the dropper coming into contact with the eye or other objects. To avoid injury to the ocular surface, ensure the dropper does not come into contact with the eye during instillation. As the solution in the bottle progressively depletes, more force will be needed to dispense a drop. Close the bottle tightly after use. In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult a doctor. Do not use the product if the OSD bottle is damaged. Keep the preparation out of sight and reach of children.
Contraindications: known hypersensitivity to the product components or other chemically related substances.
Side effects: no known undesirable effects after administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. A slight ocular burning sensation and transient visual discomfort may occur after application of the product.
Storage
Do not store above 25°C. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the bottle label. After first opening, the product can be used until the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not disperse into the environment.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months.
Format
10 ml bottle.
