EMULGEL
Description
Class I Medical Device.
Gel with Ozoile* useful in the topical treatment of pain of traumatic, arthritic, rheumatic origin.
Acts on swelling, bruises, edema.
Product of choice in the treatment of: children, adolescents, the elderly, cardiac patients.
*Erbagil patented formula.
How to use
External use. Apply the gel to the painful area and massage thoroughly until completely absorbed. It is advisable to use the product two or three times a day until the painful symptoms subside or according to medical advice. In cases of chronic pain in the acute phase, apply the gel three times a day for 15 days, then once in the evening and in the morning, and then in cycles as maintenance.
With electromedical devices.
Ultrasound with mobile handpiece: replace Dolaren with inert gel. The intensity of the applied current is proportional to the depth of the lesion. If the lesion is in the subcutaneous muscles, set the device to 0.9-1.2 watt/cm2 in continuous mode for about 20' per session. If the lesion is deeper, use intensities around 2-2.2 watt/cm2. In the case of contractures, the mode is pulsed with an intensity of 1-1.5 watt/cm2.
Hydrophoresis iontophoresis electrophoresis electroporation: replace Dolaren with inert gel. After cleansing the dermis, wet the sponges and apply Dolaren to the negative pole. It is advisable to put the product on the damp sponge and close it in the palm of your hand two or three times to ensure uniform distribution. Check the polarity; the negative pole should be placed near the area to be treated, and the other electrode should be placed so as to form a corridor where ions can migrate.
Contact diathermy: replace Dolaren with inert gel. Distribute Dolaren on the positive electrode; it does not change whether it is in resistive or capacitive mode. The duration of the treatment is at the discretion of the operator.
Shock waves: replace Dolaren with inert gel. The pulse intensity must be measured at the patient's pain threshold; the number of applications varies depending on the pathology to be treated and is at the discretion of the operator.
Laser therapy: massage Dolaren® on the affected area and proceed with the laser therapy session.
Magnetotherapy: massage Dolaren on the affected area and apply the solenoids.
