The main component of diosmectalGo is diosmectite.
Diosmectite is a natural clay that helps stop and treat diarrhoea and relieve abdominal pain.
It has been shown to:
- bind to toxins and germs and help eliminate them from the body - protect the intestinal tract and help repair intestinal damage. Diosmectite provides effective relief and reduces symptoms associated with diarrhoea.

Instructions for use
DiosmectalGo is a ready-to-drink suspension indicated for:
- the treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 8 years of age;
Adults and children over 15 years: 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet after each loose bowel movement, up to 6 sachets per day.
Children (from 8 to 15 years): 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet after each loose bowel movement, up to 4 sachets per day.
An oral rehydration solution (ORS) should be taken to replenish fluids lost due to diarrhoea and to prevent dehydration.
Use diosmectalGo for a maximum of 3 days. If diarrhoea lasts longer than 3 days, consult a doctor.
The treatment of chronic diarrhoea or abdominal pain in adults.
Up to 3 sachets per day.
Without medical advice, you can use diosmectalGo for a maximum of 2 weeks.
The contents of the sachet can be swallowed directly.

Components
Each sachet contains 3g of diosmectite.
Other components are: caramel cocoa flavour, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, hydrochloric acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water.

Warnings
Each sachet must be used only once after opening.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not take if:
- you are allergic to diosmectite or any of the other components;
- you are a child under 8 years of age with acute diarrhoea;
- you are a child with chronic diarrhoea or abdominal pain.
Do not try to treat the symptoms yourself and consult a doctor quickly if:
- diarrhoea is accompanied by high temperature, chills or repeated vomiting;
- if you have signs of dehydration (if you feel very thirsty, have a dry tongue, are tired and have persistent loss of appetite);
- stools contain blood or mucus;
- diarrhoea is accompanied by sudden weight loss;
- diarrhoea occurs during or after treatment with antibiotics;
- if you are aware of immunodeficiencies or are currently undergoing treatment that suppresses the immune system (immunosuppressive treatment or cancer treatment);
- if you have recently returned from a trip to a tropical country.
The use of diosmectalGo is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you suspect or are planning a pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking diosmectalGO.

Storage
DiosmectalGo must not be used after the expiry date shown on the package.
There are no particular storage conditions for this medical device.
Validity of intact packaging: 36 months.
