Cutifass Ointment
CE medical device, class II, sterile.
Ointment indicated for the local treatment of acute wounds (first and second-degree burns, dermoabrasions, hypertrophic scars, traumatic wounds, and other skin lesions), chronic wounds (venous, arterial ulcers, bedsores) promoting granulation and epithelization, irritations from post-peeling treatment and post-surgical scars, irritations from sun exposure, diaper rash.
- Soothing activity: reduces both pain and itching.
- Moisturizing activity: creates a microclimate that promotes healing.
- The bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect limits the risk of infection in uninfected and/or at-risk wounds and eliminates bad odor.
- Anti-inflammatory and adsorbent activity resulting in less exudate, ensuring the right degree of moisture and better healing.
- Does not adhere to tissues and removal is painless.
- Due to its characteristics, its application is indicated for body parts that are difficult to reach (anatomical folds).
- Promotes epithelization after chemical or laser peeling and in post-surgical areas.
Instructions for use
Treatment involves one or more applications per day, depending on the case. These applications, depending on the extent, size, and location of the manifestations, may be reduced to simple absorption massages, just as it may be necessary to cover the area according to the suggested application methods:
- thoroughly clean the wound with saline solution (do not use hydrogen peroxide).
If an antiseptic has been used, wash thoroughly with saline solution before applying the ointment. (Fig. 1)
- Apply a uniform layer of 2-3 mm onto a sterile gauze. (Fig. 2)
- Apply the impregnated gauze directly to the wound. (Fig. 3)
- Then cover with a bandage or an adhesive plaster. (Fig. 4)
- Repeat the application every 48/72 hours as needed.
Warnings
Do not use in case of an adverse reaction to any of the product's components.
In case of side effects, consult a doctor.
Do not use hydrogen peroxide.
In case of burns, pain may be felt when applying the ointment, which will subside after a few minutes.
For deep wounds, do not place multiple gauzes at the same time or use more ointment.
In case of redness in the perilesional areas, cover with petroleum jelly cream.
The product is for single use and cannot be sterilized.
Keep the product out of reach of children.
