RAGAMIN RECTAL CREAM
Invasive medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD. It is indicated as an adjuvant in the medical therapy of acute and chronic anal fissures in both adults and pediatric patients.
Its action on anal fissures, a lesion frequently located at the anoderm-mucosal junction of the anus, which causes a painful, cramp-like symptomatology often leading to bleeding and defecation difficulties, is based on reducing the spastic contraction of the internal anal sphincter (IAS), which causes ischemia and is the main cause of the fissure. The action of Ragamin rectal cream aims to promote faster tissue regeneration while gradually alleviating painful symptoms.
The particular composition of Ragamin rectal cream, thanks to the properties of hyaluronic acid, promotes faster healing through collagen fiber production and simultaneously favors the relaxation of the internal anal sphincter, also due to the synergistic effect of amino acids. Ragamin rectal cream contributes to regulating both pathogenetic mechanisms of anal fissures: sphincteric hypertonia and activation of collagen synthesis.
The synergy of these actions leads to a rapid and effective resolution of symptoms within 24/48 hours of application.
