Description
Corneial MED is a lubricating, protective, and hydrating ophthalmic solution. Its use provides an immediate sensation of relief, freshness, and well-being.
Corneial MED eye drops are indicated to relieve redness, irritation, itching, and dry eyes caused by: air conditioning or heating, exposure to smoke or other types of air pollution, prolonged exposure to wind or sunlight, chlorine, salt, sports in general, intense study or work, contact lens use, foreign bodies, excessive use of video screens, and general fatigue.
Corneial MED is also indicated for dry eyes due to blepharitis, trauma, and in the post-operative recovery period of ocular surface surgeries (cataract, refractive, IVT, etc.).
The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid and PHMB.
Hyaluronic acid, a natural polymer present in the tear film and in the human eye, is able to relieve irritation of the ocular surface, keeping it optimally hydrated. The cross-linked formula improves the properties of hyaluronic acid, resulting in greater bioavailability and resistance to degradation.
It also contains Polyhexamethylene Biguanide (PHMB), a substance that helps inhibit microbial proliferation.

How to use
Instill one or two drops per eye by applying light pressure to the bottle.
The product can be used daily, even several times a day, as needed, even while wearing contact lenses.
The use of Corneial MED is simple, safe, and free of any side effects; it is suitable for everyone, including children and the elderly.

Components
Polyhexamethylene Biguanide: 0.0003%; cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.2%; hypromellose 0.2%; disodium EDTA, borate buffer, sodium chloride, excipients and purified water q.s. to 100%.

Warnings
The product is for external use only.
Do not use if the seal is not intact.
Never allow the dropper to come into contact with any surface, including the eye, to avoid contaminating the product.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Do not use in case of specific hypersensitivity to any component.
Keep out of reach of children.
When ophthalmic medicines are prescribed, consult a specialist regarding the simultaneous use of Corneial MED.
Do not discard the bottle in the environment after use.
In case of discomfort or persistent irritation, discontinue use and consult a specialist.
There are no known contraindications, unless there are specific allergies to any component.

Storage
Store the bottle away from heat sources and in any case below 30°C.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Shelf life of unopened package: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 90 days.
