CORNEIAL GEL
Description
Lubricating ophthalmic gel based on 5% dexpanthenol.
Prolonged relief against dry eye syndrome and protection of the ocular surface.
Protection and hydration of the ocular surface in case of tear film alteration.
Instructions for use
Remove the tube cap, tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pouch.
Slowly press the tube until a small drop forms on the tip of the tube and spread it evenly inside the eyelid.
Open and close your eye two or three times to help distribute the gel over the entire surface of the eye and remove any excess product from the eyelid.
Make sure to close the tube with the cap.
Instill one drop per eye, once or more times a day, unless otherwise advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
Components
5% (w/v) dexpanthenol, 20% sodium hydroxide solution, carbomer, disodium edetate, cetrimide, water for injections.
Warnings
For external ophthalmic use only.
Do not touch the eye with the tip of the tube.
Do not use if the tube or the security seal is damaged.
Recap after use.
Do not wear contact lenses during product instillation: after administration, an interval of at least 15 minutes must be waited before inserting them.
In rare cases, after administration, temporary blurred vision may occur due to the viscosity of the gel.
It is therefore advisable to wait until the blurring disappears before undertaking any activity that requires clear vision.
In case of concomitant use of Corneial Gel with another ophthalmic product, it is necessary to wait at least 15 minutes between the instillation of the two products.
Corneial Gel should be the last product instilled.
In case of eye irritation, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
Continuous use of the gel is intended for a 30-day treatment; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not swallow.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
Remove contact lenses before use.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
Shelf life unopened: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 8 weeks.
