Description
A food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of hyperhomocysteinemia.
The intake of folic acid and vitamins B2, B6, B12 lowers plasma homocysteine levels, bringing them back to recommended reference values.
L5-MTHF, the biologically active form of folic acid, is capable of converting homocysteine back into methionine through the transfer of a methyl group.

Ingredients
Betaine hydrochloride; bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, hydroxypropylcellulose; zinc citrate; stabilizer: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1 tablet daily, or as advised by your doctor.

Warnings
The product must be used under medical supervision; it is not suitable for use as the sole source of nourishment.
Due to its high folate content, the product is contraindicated for individuals who do not have hyperhomocysteinemia.
