Description
Class IIa medical device. Clin 4000 works naturally; it is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucous membrane, and is eliminated in the faeces in an unmodified form. Powdered laxative for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is equally indicated for occasional irregular bowel movements. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stools, facilitating evacuation. This promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
Contains no excipients or flavourings.
Sugar-free.

Directions for use
Dissolve the powder by stirring it into any drink. The content of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for paediatric age) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the drink. Drink the solution thus reconstituted. It is recommended to take it away from meals.
Due to its safety characteristics, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing over 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. For a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. Therefore, it is recommended to use the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon, which allows for customising the dose according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical supervision.
No interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least 2 hours apart from oral medications.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may be observed, which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhoea may occur, which resolves spontaneously upon discontinuation of the product.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.
The indicated expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored.
