Description
A gentle foam specifically for eyelid and eyelash hygiene that effectively removes both lipid and dry palpebral secretions, cellular residue, and other contaminants released during inflammatory conditions such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis, which can worsen the inflammation itself. These secretions are also associated with bacterial growth along the eyelid margins and at the base of the eyelashes, favored by the production of an adhesive biofilm. The resulting inflammation can also affect the glands that produce the lipid component of the tear film, the meibomian glands, leading to dry eyes due to increased tear evaporation.
It can also be useful for cleaning eyelids and eyelashes before and after ocular surgeries.
BlefOX is based on LipozonEye (liposomal ozonated oil), lyophilized aloe vera gel, Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil, which help to clean, moisturize, and refresh the eyelids, and to soothe irritating symptoms due to inflammation.
It is indicated:
- to prevent and improve the symptoms of ocular conditions such as blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis. The ozonated oil also allows for effective removal of the bacterial biofilm that forms on the eyelids and eyelashes;
- to help reduce the risk of infections due to bacteria present on the eyelids and eyelashes, before and after ophthalmic surgery, and during blepharitis.
BlefOX can be used in both adults and children.
The foam is fragrance-free and can be easily applied to the eyelids and eyelashes.

Ingredients
LipozonEye 10%; lyophilized aloe vera gel 30%; Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil 0.01%; cocamidopropyl betaine 3.50%; propanediol 4%; disodium cocoyl glutamate 1%; hydroxyacetophenone 0.50%; sodium cocoyl glutamate 0.25%; o-cimen-5-ol 0.1%; purified water q.s. to 100%.

Directions for use
Wash your hands thoroughly before using BlefOX. Press the dispenser to apply the foam onto the cotton pad included in the package, or on a clean gauze, or alternatively, on your fingertips. When used before and after surgery, the foam should be applied to a disposable gauze.
Close your eyes and massage the eyelids with the foam. Do not open your eyes during application. Leave the foam on for about 1 minute and repeat the application 2-3 times a day, for a period of at least 7 days. After each application, rinse the eyelids and eyelashes with lukewarm water. Repeat the same steps for the other eye.

Warnings
Wash hands thoroughly before using the product.
Remove contact lenses before use. Keep eyes closed during application.
The product is intended for the external periocular area (eyelids and eyelashes).
Do not apply the product directly to the eyes. If the product accidentally comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product immediately, wash eyes, and contact a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
Do not use beyond the expiration date.
Shelf life after opening: 2 months.
