Description
Balneum Plus cream, based on urea and Laureth-6, can be effectively used for skin alterations characterized by dryness, whether or not accompanied by uncomfortable skin sensations.
Urea is normally present on the skin surface as a component of sweat. Together with carbohydrates, amino acids, lactic acid, and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, it forms the "Natural Moisturizing Factor" (NMF) which is essential for maintaining proper skin hydration and elasticity. Used topically, urea is able to retain water in the stratum corneum, thereby increasing the skin's elasticity and softness. Laureth-6 induces a feeling of well-being on the epidermis and soothes uncomfortable sensations not due to pathological causes.
The vehicle of Balneum Plus cream also includes fatty and humectant substances, such as paraffin and glycerol, which help maintain the right degree of skin moisture, elasticity, and softness.

Instructions for use
Suitable for daily use all over the body, especially on smaller skin areas such as hands, elbows, or knees. Apply the cream and gently massage into the skin. If necessary, apply several times a day.

Aqua, octyldodecanol, urea, phenyl dimethicone, laureth-6, dimethicone, glycerin, palmitic acid, benzyl alcohol, carbomer, polysorbate 40, cetyl palmitate, paraffinum liquidum, tromethamine, stearic acid.

Warnings
Preferably use by the date indicated on the package. For external use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use on damaged, weeping, or infected skin lesions. Use with caution on skin with acute inflammation. If any skin irritation occurs, stop using this product and consult your pharmacist or doctor.
