Liposomes are lipid spheres that allow for the protection and subsequent release of Apo-lactoferrin. Apo-lactoferrin (an iron-free form of lactoferrin) is more active than lactoferrin itself (5 times) because the bond with iron occurs in the open form of the apoprotein, allowing easier access to Fe³⁺ or complexed ions.
Lactoferrin is an iron-chelating protein involved in numerous biological mechanisms. It has an iron-transporting action, belongs to the transferrin family, and is widely studied for its multiple beneficial effects. However, Apo-lactoferrin is inherently unstable and is particularly sensitive to the proteolytic action of pepsin in the stomach and the proteolytic hydrolysis of pancreatin in the intestine.
This results in protein denaturation, poor absorption, and inactivation. ApoLact TDC, thanks to its modern microencapsulation technology, overcomes these problems and is the first advanced formulation that ensures the efficacy of the glycoprotein.

Ingredients
Each 550 mg capsule contains 100 mg of lactoferrin.

Directions for use
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.
Maximum dose: 2 capsules per day.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Lactoferrin is a protein extracted from cow's milk and therefore its use is not recommended in case of allergy to milk proteins.
