Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the nutritional management of subjects with protein malnutrition resulting from states of frailty or pathologies accompanied by loss of muscle mass and in sarcopenia.
In these situations, essential amino acids, HMB and vitamin D are essential to stop protein loss and improve nutritional status.

Ingredients
L-leucine, calcium hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB), L-lysine; acidity regulators: citric acid, trisodium citrate; L-isoleucine, L-valine, flavourings, L-threonine, L-histidine, L-cystine; emulsifier: sucrose esters of fatty acids; L-phenylalanine; bulking agent: hydroxypropylcellulose; sweeteners: sucralose, acesulfame K; L-methionine, L-tyrosine; colourings: beta-carotene, beetroot red; L-tryptophan, vitamin D (cholecalciferol); anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).

Gluten-free and lactose-free.

Directions for use
As directed by the doctor (1 or 2 sachets per day).
Enteral administration.
Wash the tube with 30 ml of water before and after administering the product. Ensure correct tube placement before use.
1. Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass container suitable for dispersing 100 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm.
2. Mix until the product is completely dispersed.
3. Administer the solution using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
4. Preferably use immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if stored at room temperature, within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator.
Oral administration.
Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass and add 100/150 ml of water at room temperature; mix until completely dispersed. Consume immediately after preparation.

Not for parenteral use.
Not indicated as the sole source of nutrition.
The product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
Use only under medical supervision.
Do not take in case of known or suspected allergy and/or intolerance to one or more ingredients.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. The minimum shelf life refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.
