Features
• The triple-bevel tip, with the perfect Lancet Point cut designed by Terumo, ensures a gentle and advantageous: easy puncture with minimal discomfort for the patient.
• The accurate ultrasonic finishing and the particular smoothness of the cannula, combined with the masterful tip cut, allow for trauma-free needle penetration.
• The cannula made of high-quality X5CrNi 18-9 medical-grade stainless steel is available, depending on the needle gauge, with regular, thin, or "Terumo-Thin" walls (see "Technical Specifications" table).
• Neolus needles with "Terumo-Thin" walls are manufactured according to Terumo's strict internal standards and offer an optimal balance between reduced gauges and high flow rates. Thanks to the "Terumo-Thin" wall, using a smaller gauge needle achieves the same flow allowed by a regular wall needle of larger diameter, which allows for an even more painless injection.
• A model with a blunt tip is also available, exclusively in the 18G x 40mm size, designed for laboratory use and to minimize the risk of accidental needle stick injuries during drug withdrawal from vials and ampoules and its reconstitution in the syringe.
• The hub is transparent and color-coded, for immediate identification of flashback and needle size.
• The individual blister packaging with ISO color coding ensures both sterility protection until use and immediate identification of the needle size.
