Actinica
         Lotion

CE medical device, class I. Lotion that protects from both UVB and UVA rays. It contains broad-spectrum photostable filters and is water-resistant. Actinica Lotion also has moisturizing properties to improve skin conditions. The absence of fragrance and conventional polyethylene glycol (PEG) emulsifiers ensures good tolerability of the fluid and, therefore, the possibility of using it even on the most sensitive skin.

Directions for use
Apply a generous amount of Actinica Lotion every morning, all year round, to all skin areas exposed to the sun during the day. Use Actinica before applying cosmetic products (allow Actinica Lotion to absorb into the skin for a few minutes). Reapply after prolonged contact with water or in the presence of heavy sweating. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear protective clothing. Skin surface varies from person to person; the following figure provides a general indication of the dose to be used. Using a smaller amount of product may decrease the protective efficacy.
For optimal product distribution and a pleasant feeling on the skin, apply a first dose of product to the face and repeat the application after 5–10 minutes. Please note: do not let more than 10–15 minutes pass between the two applications. The indications regarding the amount of product to be applied to the face, scalp, etc. can be used as a reference to determine the dose needed for other skin areas. When using for the first time, it is necessary to press the dispenser several times to dispense the fluid; however, the first dispenses do not provide the full dose. Press slowly to obtain the full dose.

Precautions for use
Undesirable effects from one of the components of Actinica Lotion cannot be ruled out. If, after brief sun exposure, irritation, rash, or a sunburn-like reaction occurs, this would indicate that the product is causing undesirable effects. In this case, treatment should be discontinued, and it is advisable to contact a doctor. Avoid any contact with the eyes as Actinica Lotion could cause a burning sensation in case of direct contact with the eyes. In this case, rinse the eyes with plenty of water. It is also advisable to wear sunglasses with UV protection to protect the eyes.

Use in combination with mosquito repellent products
If using Actinica Lotion in combination with a mosquito repellent product, apply Actinica Lotion first. Wait about 20 minutes before applying the mosquito repellent product. In this case, consider that the protection offered by Actinica Lotion may be reduced.

Special warnings
The UV filters contained in Actinica Lotion can stain clothing, plastics, and other materials, such as swimming pool lining films. It is therefore advisable not to apply Actinica Lotion immediately before dressing.
