Description
Accu-Chek Instant are plasma-calibrated test strips for use with the Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose meter.
They feature a wide application area that allows a small blood sample (only 0.6 microliters) to be applied anywhere on the extended yellow tip. The blood sample can, in fact, be applied anywhere on the yellow tip, and is wicked up by capillary action. Regardless of where it is applied, the system will provide a fast and accurate result.
Inside the strip are 8 gold and palladium electrodes, designed to verify that a sufficient blood sample has been applied and to ensure excellent accuracy, precision, and robustness of the system.
Test results carried out on Accu-Chek Instant strips show that they provide accurate and reliable blood glucose measurements even under various conditions, exceeding the requirements of ISO 15197:2013/EN ISO 15197:2015.
Accu-Chek Instant strips boast 2 main features: 1) Large blood sample application area, as they allow a small blood sample to be applied anywhere on the wide yellow tip.

Storage
The test strips can be used until the expiry date indicated on the package. This applies to test strips in a new, intact vial, as well as to test strips in an already opened vial.
Store at temperatures between 2 and 32°C.
